Return Policy

We hope you love all your purchases from The Chella Boutique. However, we understand that sometimes you may need to return a purchase. Online purchases are eligible for STORE CREDIT ONLY if returned within 14 business days of receiving your order. After this timeframe, your item will not be considered eligible for return.

 

Return Policy:

  • Online purchases are eligible for a refund of store credit only if returned within 30 days of receiving your purchase.
  • Return items must be scent free (perfume, cigarette, detergent, etc.), unworn, unwashed, with all tags attached. No items with makeup or deodorant stains, dog hair, or stains of any kind will be accepted.
  • Shoes must be shipped back in their original shoe box. The box needs to be placed in another box or mailer bag to avoid damage from shipping. 
  • Final sale items, accessories, swim and intimates are FINAL and cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • Shipping charges are not refundable.
  • Returns older than 14 days will be rejected. 

 

Final Sale Items:

  • All items labeled final sale 
  • All accessories
  • All swim
  • All jewelry
  • All intimates

If you return a non-returnable item the item will be disposed of or added to a donation pile. Store credit will not be issued. 

 

Return Instructions:

The Chella Boutique is not responsible for lost or untraceable shipments. We recommend mailing your return using a carrier that offers tracking services.

All items are inspected for damages prior to being sent out. The Chella Boutique is not responsible for any damages to items after being washed/worn. If an item does appear defective upon arrival, send pictures of the defective items to thechellaboutique@gmail.com within 14 days of receiving it. 

Color variation of merchandise due to computer monitor resolutions, lighting and/or photography are not qualified as damaged.

Any items washed or worn will not be accepted for store credit.

Currently, we do not offer return labels, but hope to as we continue to grow.

 

Return Address and Instructions:

Please simply contact our business at thechellaboutique@gmail.com for the return address. We are in the process of changing the address of our growing business and want to give you the most up to date information. Please include in the subject line: Order # (insert here)/Start Return. We will then promptly send you the information needed to start you return and work with you on any products you wish to exchange for a different size.

The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Carrier options are USPS, UPS and FedEx.

After emailing us to begin your return, please include your name and order number inside the package in order to receive your store credit. 

Once we receive your return, please allow 5-7 days for the return to process. Once processed, your store credit will be emailed to you. 

 

Exchanges:

If you wish to exchange your item for another size, you must return the unwanted item back to The Chella Boutique. Feel free to contact us via email at thechellaboutique@gmail.com to begin an exchange. We will do our best to save the size you need in order to complete the exchange. (Exchanges in the size needed are not guaranteed. Store credit will be issued regardless of whether or not the same product in another size is available).

Once we receive, inspect and approve the item, a store credit will be issued. You may then place an order for the desired size using your store credit. This policy coincides with our return policy, which would allow you to place another order and apply the store credit to the new order. 

 

Lost or Stolen Packages:

Please note that when you place an order with us, the liability is between you and USPS. We do not make exceptions to this policy. Here are a few recommendations to help you track your package: 

  • Confirm the shipping information you entered is correct
  • Visit your local USPS office with tracking numbers available to see where your package was dropped off
  • Check with neighbors to see if your package got dropped off at another door
  • Wait 48 hours to see if the package turns up- sometimes USPS tracking updates packages as "delivered" a few hours or even days earlier than the actual delivery
